I cannot bash this one too hard. Its not for dark marks. But it is good for burn marks which is why I bought it since my problem is mostly sun damage related. Its way too oily for oily skin like mine. But it does make a good night cream. I used it for about a year and sadly no change came to my melasma. My friend who suffered a Isabella Gracia face attack tried it and it does repair her skin greatly. She also uses it on her cracked heals and she swears by it. So not a bad product. But not for me.

JOHNSON'S FAIR COMPLEXION CREAMS - NOT THAT BAD
I tried this product for about six months and cannot bad-mouth it altogether Their hand lotion really sucks. Don't buy it. It does nothing for your hands. But their face wash is nice. The day and night creams is nice for someone with no skin problems. But does nothing to prevent sun damage and certainly does not cure dark marks. In their defense, my mother who has been having a skin problem 'gordel roos' in my language, for years found this to be her miracle product. It helped her a great deal against burn outbreaks on her skin. So not at all a bad product. But not for dark marks.
ISABELLA GRACIA - REAL DAMAGING
Next up we have this price little collection of which I was very fortunate (because I did not have to buy it) to find. There are so many things you have to apply and use and whatever... It takes long and only makes thing so much worse. After only two weeks of using this I had more blind pimples (yes thos big ass mother of a pimples) on one time than I had in a whole year in my youth. A horrid product. And it does absolutely nothing for Melasma or dark marks.
A friend of mine bought a whole collection of R3000 and to her horror after more than two years of discontinuing this product she still struggles to get her skin back to normal. All in all, I would probably pay a lot more to avoid this than pay to use this.
AVOID AT ALL COST.
BOI-OIL - BOGUS!
They boast the uneven skin tone thing loud and proud but when I tried it all I got was a constant drown in oil!
The bottle says that you have to wait three months to see results. I tried this product for six! It's so oily you cannot use it under a foundation and at night its all shiny. After six months of oil torture I gave up with absolutely no results. ITS BOGUS!
YARDLEY OATMEAL - BOGUS PRODUCT
First product I tried was the Yardley Oatmeal Collection for even tone. It is bogus! The day cream is too oily. It does block some of the pimples but those you get takes up to three times longer to heal while using this product. So if a sore on your skin takes longer to heal... obviously dark marks will also take longer if not get worse. Definitely a product to avoid.
THE MAIN GOAL
The main goal of this blog is for me to find a cure for dark marks that doesn't leave me looking like a grease ball.. I am 25 years old and have been battling a sun mustache for four years now. (The picture above is not me. I got it off the net.) How embarrassing! On this blog I will post all my findings and products that I have tried before. If you can ad some insight, you are most welcome. Please note that I am not a beautification I am simply a girl who is fed up with bullshit products. I am willing to pay for something that works but there is so many crappy products out there that does absolutely nothing to improve the problem. So there is going to be a lot of bashing against certain products.
